SUU Honors Course Advertisement – World of Flight

This is a client-based project for Graphic Design I class at Southern Utah University. The skills learned in class including the use of grids, visual hierarchy, and color were used to create a promotional flyer, Instagram story, and Instagram carousel for the director of the Honors Program at SUU.

This honors course was focused on the history of flight, so I went for a vintage design by using a stamp style font, and a vintage color scheme and texture.
Visual hierarchy was important in this design, as the client wanted to emphasize that the class was available to all students, not only students in the honors program.
In addition to designing according to the client’s needs, I incorporated SUU’s tagline: “This is where you soar” in the carousel. “Soar through science, history, and innovation.”
