SUU Honors Course Advertisement – Fear

This is a client-based project for Graphic Design I. I was given details about an honors course at Southern Utah University and asked to incorporate them into a promotional flyer, Instagram story, and Instagram carousel. The goal of the project was to understand the process of designing for a client while developing skills in Illustrator and grid design.

For the theme of this project, I aimed to create something different than the typical fear themed posters that use black and red. Purple is an alternative color representing fear, so I went with a dull purple for the background.
Broken mirrors can evoke feelings of fear and bad luck, so I included this as the main feature of the poster, inserting all of the relevant information inside of the mirror as well as aligned in the left corner of the poster.
